Student Email Upgraded to Office 365

Henderson State University student email provided by Microsoft Outlook.com is being upgrade by Microsoft to Microsoft Office 365.  Microsoft Office 365 includes your favorite Office features online and allows you to create sophisticated reports and presentations.

What does this mean for you?  

Most users will not notice a difference but after the upgrade you will have two separate accounts with the same user name and password that you use  to access Live@edu.   

1.    Office 365 account .   This account gives you access to your school email. Henderson State University administers this account.
2.    Personal Microsoft account .  This personal account will give you access to all your existing SkyDrive content, Messenger, and other Microsoft services. Note that Henderson State University no longer administers this account. As a result, we can not reset the password for you.

HSU Faculty and Staff can CLICK HERE to go the HSU Password Management website to manage all of their HSU passwords.(MyHenderson passwords will be updated from this process in the near future, but this feature is currently turned off)
 
HSU Students can CLICK HERE for instructions on how to get a new password sent to their HSU email. 

Current Students

If you are a student currently taking classes you can access the site to register, see your classes, view financial aid, and check your account balance.  

Use your Henderson assigned username to log in. Your default password is the first 4 digits of your birthday combined with the last 4 digits of your Social Security number.(If no SSN use 0000)  For example, if your birthday is on January 5, and your SSN is 123-45-6789, your password will be 01056789. If you have forgotten a password you have created, click here for instructions on how to get a new password.
 
To find your username go to the Student Directory , and search for your name. Your username is the set of letters and numbers that appear in the column next to your name.  Keep in mind that this is your username for everything on campus except your email.  Your email username is your entire email address (your HSU username with @reddies.hsu.edu attached to the end).  
 
All Henderson students can request help to log in by calling the Henderson Helpdesk at (FOSTER HALL) (870)230-5678 or emailing helpdesk@hsu.edu.

Employees

If you are currently employed by Henderson State, you can access the myHenderson site to access handbooks, documents and forms, technology instructions, and your employment and benefit information.
 
Log in with your normal network username and the password you created. If you have forgotten your password  click here for instructions or call the Helpdesk at (870)230-5678.

Student Email Instructions

  1. Your HSU email address will be your HSU username followed by @reddies.hsu.edu
  2. You can use the student directory to find your HSU username. Use the search bar at the top to narrow down the displayed names.  Your HSU username is the letters and numbers that appear in the column next to your name.  Your email username is your entire email address. Your default password is the first 4 digits of your birth date followed by the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number.

MyHenderson Mobile

MyHenderson has gone Mobile

MyHenderson now has a site for mobile devices. You can go to http://myhenderson.hsu.edu/go on your mobile device to access the site. Students can view annoucements, view classes, view grades, search university directory and find location of buidling on campus.
