Free athletic event admission to OBU & HSU students Penny MURPHY 10/9/2008 10:48:55 AM

An agreement between Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University allows Henderson students to attend OBU athletic events free of charge, and gives Ouachita students free access to Henderson athletic events. Students must present their ID cards for free admission, according to Henderson athletic director Sam Goodwin and Ouachita athletic director David Sharp.

Fielding said students will benefit most when Henderson and Ouachita play each other. “But on those weekends where Henderson teams are playing away, students can now go over to OBU with friends that attend school there and enjoy athletic events,” he said. “This new policy simply makes a great partnership between the two schools.
